You know I'm here! I am forever grateful that you introduced me to substack over 18 months ago. I love it. You have got me thinking though.. I don't actually use the notes or chat much here. I'm going to start! Thanks for all your work
Super to meet you Katrina! I look forward to getting to know you, I'm guessing you are much further north than me if you have an avocado farm, not freezing your butt off this morning!
Hello Skye, I’m an Australian Substacker too. And most of my readers are in email. Slowly finding my people and connecting with other writers on Substack, which is really quite wonderful. Thanks for the Aussie shout out. 👋
I think there are some readers who don’t want the hassle of another app, and others who want less emails in their inbox. Both want to be connected. So we must write for both. It’s tricky!
Lovely to Meet you Kate! I look forward to getting to know you :) Yes , Skye thank you for this thread, it is wonderful to be put in touch with other Aussie writers. xo
Couldn't agree more!! It is so clunky from email and I just desperately want to engage with more of the people the analytics are telling me are reading my substack each week. I so love chatting with those who do and just wish it were easier and more straightforward for everybody xo
I have been uploading posts to Substack for the past six months under the substack.com/@democracywatcher link. My most recent posts have been directed at Australians but, generally, I have been trying to create an awareness of what's happening to democracy in America and how important it is for us, as a nation, to be aware of it and ensure that we don't go down that same path.
Hi! It's great to discover Company on Sundays thanks! I'm in Gadigal country, Sydney and while I've nervously posted twice a while back, I am now keen to explore more on SS. Great to hear about other 'locals' here too :)
This is really fun. I love it when people are getting together for a common cause. Not Australian, but I have Aussie friends (from Indonesia). Does that count? Lol. Hope you're well this week. Cheers, -Thalia
I have been a reader in SS for quite a while & recently decided to move my blog writing here. I put the call out to find fellow Aussie SS-ers & was pointed in your direction, so hello! Hi!!! So lovely to find you :)
Frenchie here ! Got recommended your substack through the app I believe. So the app does have a hard time reaching the "right" audience. But I've been enjoying reading your words in my Gmail app. Always a nice quiet read.

Brilliant! I look forward to getting to know you via your stack :). I’m based near Canberra - where are you?
Hello! Just down the road near Gunning!
Wonderful Skye! We are probably even closer than that - I am in Murrumbateman :)
I’m moving to Murrumbateman from Canberra in a couple of months!
Oh! How lovely :) Turns out there are more of us closer than we thought!
Ravensbourne in Queensland — Lo Ely to meet you 💚

Kate: it’s interesting about the number of emailers vs on the platform! I wonder if it’s the same for everyone?! Thanks for saying Hi!!
