Eeep it’s now December and the weeks/days leading up to Chrissie are shrinking. I’ve been heavily influenced by Beth Kempton’s Calm Christmas mantra and ideas this year - and am just trying to make time for all the crafting, gifting, thankfulness etc and not let the steamtrain that is the end of the year take over all the excitement. I hope you can find a bit of this too in the weeks ahead - and ‘think like a child this Xmas’. Take it slow this morning, read this, think about some nice Decembery things to do and do something fun and childlike! Happy Sunday to you. xx

Emma Gannon is pure celebrity on Substack - and when you read pieces like this you can see why. It’s about burnout and change. And these are two things that have happened with me professionally over the last year.
Did you know we have another newsletter that comes out on Wednesday’s? The Mid-Week Missive is more magazine style and includes a Q&A with a rural business woman and early access to our Daily Routines podcast and show notes and a list of reading/watching/listening things for the week to-date. Become a part of the paid subscriber community and you can receive it too.
So glad I discovered @Beth Kemptons book and fabulous podcast ... loving “reading” both on drives to town . Christmas is feeling calmer for sure and love the northern hemisphere imagery too 👌
