The Mid Week Missive

The Moon has been making its presence felt here this week - rising bright and strong in the east. The dust in the still evening air ushers it up, huge and brilliant, throwing stage lights of blues, purples, pinks and yellows.

We’ve been busy with holiday guests at Little Bloomfield, they’re doing exactly what I had hoped - nothing - but I hope more they too have caught the energy of this daily cosmic ball of beauty.

In the paddocks, husband has been sowing; the activity keeps us all busy with other jobs and its making for a productive and busy first week of holidays.

The dams are next to dry, the water run out. To cool off, or just to be dirty, the boogie boards have come out and the hijinks have been had by the kids in the muddy sludge that remains.

And maybe by the time I next write we might have taken ownership to some new puppies - am I insane?! I know the answer is yes but maybe, just maybe it’s no.
