The Mid-Week Missive

Full throttle TV time

Just a quick one this week dear readers.

The Olympics - has taken over my days this week - spreading the word and cheer about our rural and regional athletes. It’s been fun! and full on. So much to watch, so many events, so much emotion. It’s the best.

Here are updates for the featured in our Paddock to Paris podcast series in partnership with Rabobank Australia. Not sure about you - but I’ve felt really invested in these guys and it’s made the Olympic experience so much better for all on our couch!

Laura Gourley: We were watching the Aussies as they rowed their hearts our women’s to place 8th (or 2nd in Final B) last night.

I’ve been in contact with Laura’s mum says Laura has been absolutely loving the Olympic experience. As I’ve been discussing on the group text - the Olympics can be so cut throat but ‘once an Olympian always an Olympian.’
