Sometimes when I do all the washing and vacuum the floor, the ideas fall into place and take form. Recently I’ve had two big events where I’ve been away from home and I’ve come home to roost - and it’s all fallen into place. I have been a buzzing mess! The ideas came to me, quick and fast, clear and coherent. I know I’m not the only one. I had a text yesterday from a lady (hello KB!) saying she cleaned the house and her idea for a new newsletter took form.
Is there a name for this phenomenon? Be domestic and it will all make sense. Perhaps it’s the monotony of it all. The repetition of something, a mindless practise, so well known that your mind can relax and see clearly. It does make sense.
Without wishing any more washing upon us all, there is a certain kind of comfort in the routine of domesticity (which I have spoken about here before) a sort of subterfuge takes place while achieving a soothing task at the same time, double win!
Here’s to you and your ideas taking form in whatever magical way they do. It’s never when you want it to, but there’s certainly something to be said for stepping outside your surrounds and then stepping back in again with a new perspective. Sx

What are your thought’s about EOFY? Rather not think about it? Thought so.
This might help?! I can’t say I’ve done it but I think its creator - Carmen Quade - is an office wizard who knows how to make sure stuff gets done.
