Welcome to Company on Sundays, a hand picked bundle of goodness to mosey through while tucked up in bed or cosy’d on the couch. Preferably with a cup of something yummy in hand. I appreciate you being here - and delight in each and every new subscriber sign-up that pop’s up in my notifications.
This week’s newsletter is sponsored by Humans of Agriculture
Wishing you all the sunshine in the world this Sunday! How could this scene not make you smile. Today I’m hoping - yearning actually - for some bbq bonfire action deep in the scrub.
I know that the bump-along drive to get out there - no nicely graded tracks here folks - solidifies the effort and makes us linger for longer than we’d allow ourselves had we been set up closer to home. You know, a new week to get ahead of, clothes to fold, cooking to do, brilliance to be attempted! The kids will climb higher, wander longer and look deeper - and I’ll sit with a nice glass of red in hand and dissect and process the week past and what’s ahead.
For me, it’s Winter at its best. What about you - how do you make yours wonderful?

Kristen Carriol, founder of Lanolips on Mark Bouris’ The Mentor.
Have you heard of the Gen X NZ based newsletter, Shit You Should Care About? It’s a fascinating story. Young gun founder Lucy Blakiston (who thinks typo’s are good for engagement) is speaking here with Hal Crawford.
Luxury, stay-at-home economy, communal areas in accommodation are all discussed in this pod on the Future of Travel and Tourism with Grant Alchin from Capitaland Australia.
And as I type I’ve been listening to a Maurie + Eve playlist which is quite nice.
