Some nice things I could do today...
Road-testing this new ritual to add sparkle to end of the day
“Something nice I could do is cook a fresh risotto and drink some white wine while the TV is on in the background or I could play handball and catches while cooking the BBQ and then settle down to an hour or two doing mindful work on the computer or I could spend proper one-on-one drawing time with the kids before bed and then finish my collage while I watch Q&A on the TV or Zoom into the P&C meeting while I do my collage and drink wine.“
Apart from the fact that many things have changed* since writing this entry, I am going to embed this as a regular for my journal. It makes me feel organised and gives me something to look forward to when at the end of a full day my mind is over-buzzing, my legs turn to cement and my fuse is short. If I know I have this ahead of me I think it will be ok. No less so for the fact that I will have tapped into the small lovely things in my life.
