Sneaking an extra 10 minutes in bed......
If you can manage to continue your slumber this Sunday morning, cosy up with this the final newsletter for 2023 and revive your spirits for the week ahead!
Merry Christmas lovely readers. As I have said many times before, curating this newsletter for you is one of my favourite things to do. Of late, I know I have been tardy and so I thank you so much for your patience. I decided to step back from most of my work at the end of September. It was no supposed to be all work but once I stopped I realised I was super super tired. I slept for days and mooched around our home and to be honest, I couldn’t think of anything worse than to interview people or edit or anything podcast related. I had no-idea I was trying to jam too much into my weeks, I mean I didn’t feel like I was running on empty, I merely took a break because I needed it for my mental health, but physically, I thought I was ok. I suppose my learning is that it is all interconnected and it’s true what they say about taking ‘time’. The Manson Podcasting Network should be back next year, but I’m not 100% sure that it will be. I’m waiting for my journalistic curiosity to return and for the ideas that usually simmer constantly to reform. Either way, there will be newsletters and I know you will continue to love them. Here’s to wishing you all some moments of rest this Christmas period (ahem sneaking an extra 10 mins in bed) and lots of moments of happiness and joy. Lots of love, Sxx
