Lily Scolari harnessed her love of agriculture, a degree in product design and a desire to create artesian leather goods. Enter Ivy&Gus.
Thea spoke with Lily earlier in the year about how Ivy&Gus came to be, and the very simple things, yet meaningful joys that she finds fulfilment in.
T: Lil, where do you live, with you and what do you do?
L: I am living in Roma, in southern Queensland with beautiful friends who are nurses. I live in a little granny flat out the back of the house and in it, is also my leather studio and my little puppy Saffi. I spend most of the day running IVY&GUS from here, a small handmade leather goods business.
T: How fantastic. I feel like rural communities are where like-minded young people gravitate to each other – people who are on similar paths to you.
